Check out our frequently asked questions below. If you have any other questions or comments, contact us. We'd be glad to hear from you.
What should I expect?
Before starting any session, I take the time to get to know you and what you're looking for. With that information, I'll provide you with what I can offer in return to make the session most successful. I want to make sure you're completely comfortable with every detail and that you have fun during the process.
How long does a session last?
Most sessions will last around an hour and a half to two hours. Depending on the type of session, we may need more or less time. Before a session begins, I'll discuss this with you in more detail to ensure we get the most out of time and not feel rushed.
Do I have to come up with ideas for my portraits?
All individuals and groups have different visions for a photography session. Some prefer natural poses while others prefer more candid playful shots.
Sometimes this can get quite overwelming. As a professional photographer, I'll first get to know you and your style. With that information, I'll use my experience to gather the best ideas that may suit the results your after.
Of course, you're still welcome to offer your ideas and I'll do my best to accomadate them.
The most important part is that you and I are both comfortable with the ideas. The plan is always to make our time together as fun and productive as possible.
What should I wear?
For most types of sessions, what you wear should represent who you are. Wear clothes that feel comfortable to you. And as a general rule, avoid wearing articles that have strong visible brand names.
For groups of people, coordinate wardrobes the best you can. Find common styles that each person might have available. More neutral colors tend to be the easiest to match.
With all of these things in mind, just remember that we want to represent you in the portraits. So, make sure what you wear compliments who you are and isn’t too distracting.
How should I do my hair?
In general, your hair should reflect your style. Whether in a casual or formal setting, match your hair style with your wardrobe. The most important thing, however, is that your comfortable during the session and that your hair style will last the entire time.
